James Joyce is wearing a style of eyeglasses introduced in 1880. The style lost popularity and was discontinued after the stock market crash of 1929. Joyce is wearing Windsors covered with an early type of plastic called "zylo", introduced around WWI. Zylo could be black, brown, and tortoise shell.what if they were back in style? I know at least one person who would wear them :) Guess they could easily replace the much too popular Police style.
